Oracle of Ages, Part 1: In Which Our Hero Dooms the World

Dec 23, 2008 15:06

I've been lurking around screencappery for a while. Never said much. I'm, well, kind of shy. But I've been playing with the idea of doing my own screencap adventure, and so here I am.

in which many questions are raised, few of which will be answered )

N-no need for fights to the death! Eep.

Aw. It's always sad when you find you can't play your old games any longer.

I love you for doing this. Seriously, this is one of the first games I ever played.

I never had any trouble figuring out what the monkey is, it just looked like a monkey and nothing else. The bear's what I wondered about. IS IT A BEAR? A SQUIRREL? A WEASEL? A SNAILBEAR? It totally looks like it has a snail's shell when it's lying down.

YES MAKU TREE

I can't wait. The Maku Tree in Ages was awesome, and she's so cute when she's small!

I'm definitely looking forward to the next part!

I don't know, those things just never really looked that much like monkeys to me. I guess they are, but... And the bear does look a little strange, doesn't he? Hm.

Hee, Maku Tree. I love her so much.

I'm partly done with the next part already. Actually, I have caps up to the beginning of the second dungeon already, but the commentary takes longer... I keep wanting to rush ahead in the game. Ah...

HOLY--:D This is the one where you ge the flying bear mount, right? Because I've never played this although I have played the sister game OH GOD MOOSH TIEMS NAO YAY

As a note, one of the greatest swordsmen EVER used wooden swords to pwn people. Wooden swords: they will end you.

I grew to prefer Dimitri, myself. Maybe it was the way he could one-hit even some of the golden enemies from OoS... That and I like to have a way to explore the ocean early on.

Like Anon above, I kind of prefer Dimitri, but Moosh is pretty awesome, too. I'm not sure which I should go for... hm...

I guess I'm underestimating wooden swords? But to me it still seems like the princess herself could have sprung for something a little deadlier to help out her hero.

Yeah; I was kinda angry that I couldn't get Dimitri at first. Then I gave up and dealt with having the giant male kangaroo. o_o

This is true, as pointy weapons are better then not-pointy weapons.
