“ ugly!!!, ugly!!!, ugly!!! Where are you going?”, the man shouted pulling the victim’s hair, “Do you think you can keep on
running huh?”, he said while kicking the other making him fell on the ground.
“when will they get tired?...”, asked by a pained tatsuya to himself.
“I wonder why you and nishikido-sama are brothers…are you an adopted? because for us you look like a monster”, said by the leader of the bullies giving tatsuya a disgusted look.
“you don’t belong here!!!!, this school is for normal and good looking people…hahahahha”, the other bully said and laughed evilly.
“well, well, well, my friend. Let’s start the fun now ne?..”, the leader talked again, “what are we going to do with you now? Hmmm.. let me think first…yesterday you almost kissed the mud on the ground…did we beat you well? Or wasn’t it good enough for you?.., he asked tatsuya, “well, we want something new.. how about we throw you in the river?..” the leader said in a suggestive tone.
“sounds great!!!”, his friends answered in chorus.
“ well monster, it’s time to take a bathe ne?, coz’ you stink already”, the leader smirked and pulled tatsuya’s hair again.
Tatsuya did not respond because for him being bullied and being beaten was just a normal encounter everyday and everywhere.
The leader, with his 4 friends, dragged a dead-liked tatsuya by pulling his hair making tatsuya cried in pain.
“ stop!!!”, Somebody shouted which made the bullies to look back.
“le…leader..!! it’s ka…kamenashi-kun…oh no and…a…kani.. akanishi-sama is there too… what are we going to do now?”, the guy stuttered and looked to their leader with so much nervous.
“try to run or your lives starting this moment and up to the end will be surely liked of hell”, jin said in a threatening tone making the bullies unable to move to where they stood.
Kame proceeded to his lying friend. He wiped tatsuya’s blood on his right cheek with his hanky and gave tatsuya a warm smile then he turned his attention to his boyfriend and spoke.
“jinjin…”, he called in a sweet tone.
“yes baby?”, jin asked.
“can you beat them for me?, I just had my handspa this morning, I don’t want to ruin my soft hands..”, kame said and winked to his boyfriend.
“kame..”, tatchan spoke in a tired tone.
“no tatchan!!!, if we will not give them a lesson, they will continue hurting you.. so they need to be inculcated with new and painful lesson..,” kame demanded.
“but..”, tatchan was about to talk again when jin interrupted.
“don’t worry tatchan, it will only take a minute ne?”, jin said and smirked to the bullies.
Upon seeing jin’s smirk, the bullies chilled, because for people who know jin, smirking jin is dangerous and deadly.
Jin was about to start his attack when somebody pulled him backward, giving the chance for the bullies to run as fast as they can.
“just let them go”, said by the person.
Jin turned around with an annoyed face and punched the said person instead.
“how dare you ryo!!! Are you blind? Look at your aniki!!! He’d been hurt!!!”, jin said angrily
“it’s not my problem nor yours jin!!! It’s his!!!”, ryo said in retaliation.
Tatsuya just remained sitting on the ground feeling so hurt and unwanted. Kame stood up and walked towards ryo.
“is it a crime to lose an eye? Is it really disappointing to have an aniki with one eye? Tell me nishikido!! Huh!!! Tell me!!!”, kame screamed in front of ryo.
“and what if I say yes? Huh? Will it change his feature?”, ryo said with an angry expression.
Tatsuya upon hearing ryo’s words felt he’s being crashed. He just cried and when he heard ryo talk again it seemed like his world was totally doomed.
“I don’t care if he’s bullied everyday!!! He deserves it!!, he’s really ugly and because of him my reputation is always in shame and at stake!!... I’m tired of being described as ryo nishikido “the brother of one-eyed tatsuya nishikido and so on and so fort!!!.. I hate him!!!”, ryo said directing his gaze to his brother.
“ stupid!!!”, kame punched him, ryo was about to fight back when jin grabbed ryo’s arms to stop him (a/n: of course he’s jin and he’s kazu’s knight in shining armor..^_^) .
“You’re the most selfish person I’ve ever known!!! The only thing that is important to you is your so-called reputation!!! Well, if I happened to be tatchan I will never recognize you as my brother!!! You don’t deserve to be his brother!!! Tatsuya is an angel and you…well no words can even describe you!!! You’re more than worst than a criminal!!!”, kame was really furious already and was about to give ryo a hard punch again when tatsuya spoke.
“enough kame..” he said and motioned his gaze from kame to ryo, “ryo, sorry for being your brother…if you’re tired of my existence and you think I will ruin your life because of my ugly face, monster face or whatever you call it, then from now on no more one-eyed brother to see everyday, no more understatement association when people will describe you.. because starting today we are not brothers anymore… “, tatsuya said calmly with a hurt expression. He stood up with struggle because he’s both physically and emotionally in pain and immediately jin and kame followed and assisted him in walking, leaving a speechless ryo.
On his way home, ryo was confused of his feelings. He did not know why he felt sad when tatsuya uttered those words. He hated him but he was hurt of what tatsuya told him. He felt empty and to erase the bothering thoughts he quickened his steps.
On the other side, jin was persuading tatsuya to stay to their house with kazu for the meantime.
“ne tatchan..please…. come to our house because we need to treat your wounds and you need to get away from that imoto of yours, right kazu-baby?...”, jin said with puppy eyes effect.
“owss… if I know you’re just bored in your mansion....”, kazu said in a teasing tone.
“yes I am…..”, jin answered absentmindedly, “ehh??? Well of course not…it’s just that I have nobody to talk and to spend my weekend to… I have busy parents and my brother is double times busy than my parents. It’s so lonely to be alone in that mansion and .. You’re my perfect lover kazu and tatchan is my ideal aniki”, jin confessed.
“oh baby I’m so touched…”, kazu coaxed his boyfriend.
“honto ni?”, jin asked with sparkling eyes.
“hai..hontodayo..” kame affirmed.
“so are you going to help me persuade tatchan to sleep over with us at home now?”, jin asked with so much hope and excitement in his eyes.
“hai!!!”, kame answered.
Upon witnessing the lovers’ lovey-dovey mode and cheesiness tatsuya smiled and spoke.
“ne kazu, jin.. I’m really okay, don’t worry..”, tatsuya said and smiled.
“but tatchan..it would be fun!!! Jin ordered his butler just this morning to buy lots of strawberries for me and cherries for you., right jinjin?”, kazu started to persuade tatchan also.
“hai!!! You like cherries, right tatchan? I always saw you before buying cherries so I guessed you really like to eat cherries.. hahahha.. i’m genius right kazu-baby?..” jin said proudly.
“yes you are jinjin”, kazu affirmed and then rolled his eyes.
“cherries.. it’s ryo who likes cherries the most..”, tatsuya said in his thoughts.
Flashback….
“oniichan… I want to eat cherries now… please….”, requested by a 10-year old ryo.
“but okaachan told me to let you eat cherries after you eat your lunch”, tatsuya said apologetically.
“please oniichan…..”, ryo asked him again with puppy and teary eyes.
“hmmmm.. you really know your puppy and teary effects are my weakness ne?”, tatsuya said and smile, “okay, but it’s just a secret between us huh., don’t tell neechan and kaachan, okay? Because for sure they will get mad at me for spoiling you too much”, tatuya said and pinched lightheartedly ryo’s nose.
“hai oniichan..i will not tell them,.., so please get me cherries now”
tatsuya gave ryo a bowl of cherries and continued to eat when ryo spoke again.
“anou..oniichan…”
“needed something again?”, tatsuya asked.
“ ai shiteru.”, ryo said and giggled.
“I know ryo..”, tatchan said and smiled.
“it’s that all?”, ryo pouted and faked a disappointment.
“ai shiterayo ryo-chan., satisfied now?.”, tatsuya smiled to him again.
“uhm”, ryo said and grinned.
End of the flashback…
Tatsuya’s thoughts was interrupted when kazu tap his shoulder.
“please tatchan…”, he persuaded again.
“no..”, tatchan refused.
“but why?.. kazu asked.
“jin’s maids will freak out”, tatsuya said.
“they will really freak out if I will fire them, right kazu-baby?,” jin said.
“hai hai hai..jinjin”, kazu affirmed again.
“well it’s just me against the two of you, okay I will go with you guys but let me call my mom first, I will tell her I will go home Sunday evening”, tatchan said.
“yosh!!!! Happy!!!”, kazu and jin said in chorus.
A minute later, jin’s butler arrived and drove them going to the akanishi mansion. By the right window of the limousine, tatsuya wondered and thought of how to bid goodbye to his mother, sister… and ryo.
Nishikidos' house:
“tadaima..”, ryo greeted.
“okaeri..ne ryo it’s late already and your aniki is not here yet…, he usually comes before you, do you have any idea where he is now?”, his mother asked in a worried tone.
“I’m not his bodyguard so obviously I don’t know his whereabouts.”, ryo said without warning.
His mom was about to scold ryo for talking tactlessly when his oneechan called their mother.
“mom!!! The phone is ringing…”
“we’re not yet done ryo… I let you pass this time…, once I heard you talk again like that I will not think twice to whip you even if you’re 17 already.”, his mother warned and then went to the living room to answer the phone.
“mom, it’s me tatsuya, I’m here in jin’s house.”
“tatsuya, are you alright?, do you want me to fetch you now? It’s getting late already baby, and I know it’s hard for you to see in equal balance when it’s dark ..”, his mom spoke with worried tone.
“no need mom, I’ll spend my weekend here, so you don’t have to worry ne?, jin’s parents went abroad for a tour so me and kazu will accompany him…”
“okay, but promise me you will come back Sunday before 7pm..i will cook special dinner since your oneechan has a job already, She was accepted last Thursday, remember?”, his mom said cheerfully.
“hai okaachan,”
“ne tatsuya, are you sure you’re okay?”, his mother asked again.
“yes mom..don’t worry, I’m really okay”, tatsuya felt guilty, he did not like to lie especially to his mom but he did not want her to worry about him.
“anou… okaachan”, tatsuya spoke again but with hesitation.
“hai tatchan..nani?
“ mom I love you and thank you for everything”, tatsuya felt like it will be the last time he can tell his mom how much he loves her and how grateful he is to be her son.
“I love you tatsuya no matter what happens ne?, I will never leave your side ok?”, his mother replied and became nervous suddenly.
“okaachan, goodbye..” , tatsuya hung up the phone and went to his friends who were busy eating in the kitchen.
