This had some really awesome moments. Very dark and twisted.
I really liked this part:
...then let the fetid water of the lake fill his mouth, nose, ears, and lungs, forcing viler things out of him. His body might become the worst kind of slave to the Dark Lord but his heart and soul were free.
And Snape was fairly excellent:
“As though changes of heart are singular to you…”
But Snape was on a roll. “I changed my mind. Alas yours is too inbred to understand the difference.”
This exchange between them was just brilliant. Totally in character.
