I got some Chinese food last night and what did my fortune say?

"It's over your head now. Time to get professional help."What the fuck kind of fortune is that? I'm paranoid enough, thank you very much - I didn't *need* that! I've heard of funny fortunes and dirty fortunes and well, all *kinds* of fortunes except this kind. What kind is this? ( Read more... )

Just add the phrase "in bed: to the end of the fortune and that narrows down the scope of how out of control your life is. But yes, WTF with that fortune cookie? I'm with you: never buying from that place again.

I've seen Gene Simmon's show maybe three times and enjoyed it thoroughly. Much better than The Osbournes because you can understand them all and the children seem nice, smart, and well adjusted unlike Ozzie's.

Well, that does put a new spin on it, doesn't it? Not sure if it's more or less disturbing that way ;-)

A&E has had marathons of Gene Simmon's show the last two Sundays and I've gotten hooked both times. I didn't like the Osbournes either. Too argumentative and from what I remember, the kids were sullen brats. I may have to buy or rent the Family Jewels DVDs.

We have a longstanding tradition of adding "in bed" or (in more polite company) "between the sheets" to each and every fortune--been doing it for years. I have to observe that any fortune that includes "It's over your head" and "seek professional help" makes me wonder if the roof is about to spring a new leak.

Well, a leaky roof wouldn't thrill me, but since I rent, I could live with it.

Our new Oracle system sure needs professional help. Still no-go today. Glad I don't have anything to do with that end of it.

In a group, you play the "fortune cookie game". One person asks another a question. The fortune is the answer. The person who just answered asks someone who still has a cookie, the next one.

Since you were by yourself, this may be a reference to your Oracle upgrade *g*.

Creepy fortunes- maybe a Halloween thing?

Heh! Well Oracle *certainly* needs professional help. It was still broken today.

It's amazing the stuff they didn't test before Go Live. At least it's officially Not My Problem.
