Conner had thought he’d had Ethan James pegged: typical geek, too busy going to computer club to indulge in the finer things of life (i.e., sports and girls, not necessarily in that order). And like most geeks, he’d probably talk Conner’s head off about video games and computer programs he really didn’t care about at all-- so he didn’t bother.
Then came the Dino Gems.
And okay, Ethan did talk his head off about video games and computer programs. But he was smart-- as in not just computers; he had also saved their backsides because he’d noticed what he and Kira hadn’t. And his wisecracks actually made Conner laugh (unlike his soccer teammates, who definition of humor was how far they thought a girl would go on the first date). And while Conner was never ever going to admit out loud, he was kind of glad Ethan would let him know (very vocally) if he did something stupid. It was more than his teammates ever did for him, that was for sure.
And maybe…
Nah. Ethan would never see him that way. Not like that. Better to stick with

Circuit was bored. The mechanical bird sulked up in the attic as the rest of TimeForce was busy throughout the day with Odd Jobs. He was bored. Very bored. He had accessed all the files from TimeForce headquarters and read them at least four times and still had plenty to spare

There were days when there were tears when Ashley and Karone held each other. Often, when Karone wept for time lost, for things she'd done... for everything. There were days when Ashley needed to cry, too, remembering everything she had seen, that she and her friends had been through

Lily could sense that there was something different about Fran when she came into work at Jungle Karma Pizza that day. For one, the girl's usual stack of books to read during slow times wasn't under her arm, instead replaced by a bottle filled with orange juice and a box of tissues. For two, she was unusually quiet, keeping her head bowed and silently making her checklist as she prepared the pizza shop for the day. Finally, Lily had enough and approached her

Udonna had felt that something was going to be different for several weeks now. However, it was only in the last few days that she could sense precisely what. She had been listening to her body with both her magic and her own natural instincts, finally realizing what had happened. Some other force was within her body now- a wonderful presence of good, of happiness, of love growing inside of her

Fran comes to Jungle Karma Pizza even though she's sick and Lily tries to make her go home. Add the men if you want. But primarily Lily/Fran.
