I wasn't planning on doing anything special, but now I'm excited, so I'm ( Read more... )

Should I bring anything? Don't wanna make you do all the work! That wouldn't be any fun!

You don't have to bring anything! Unless there's something special you'd like to eat or drink!

A cake, huh? That sounds like a great way to spend a birthday. I'd hope you wouldn't mind if I drop by. A pretty lady deserves fun on her birthday.

I'll have to try to get off work early, but if I have anything to say about it, I'll be there!

Oh, if you have to work that's alright! I'd love to see you, but I can always bring you cake another time if you want!

Happy birthday!

I've gone to the kitchen and put a reserved sign on it, so no one should be cooking when you're baking. It's hard enough dealing with the less-than-state-of-the-art equipment; you don't need a bunch of people elbowing in and getting in the way so they can make their ramen.

Oh! I wouldn't have minded. But thank you, Miroku!

You're welcome to come down and visit and get some cake, if you have the time! If not, I'll be sure to save you a slice, and I'll bring it by your room tonight!

It just seemed like an easier way to spend time with your friends and not a bunch of surly residents. :)

I'll be getting out of class at four o'clock this afternoon, and I have an RA meeting to go to, but I'll swing by and see if you're still there by around 5:30 - 6-ish. If not, I'll knock on your door... unless you've already got a waiting list filled with people who want to spend time with you.

I'm sorry I wasn't one of the first to send birthday greetings. But I'll gladly join you later in the kitchen.

It was good to see you too.

What are you apologizing for? Thank you, I'll be happy to see you then! I hope everybody likes chocolate cake!

We have been friends for a long time, and so I assumed it would have been more polite to be among the first to wish you a good birthday.

Chocolate is rarely a problem.

Oh! Don't worry about that! It's alright! I'm glad you're here though, it'll be really nice having an old friend around for my birthday!
