[And Terra wanders into his line of sight, not seeing him just yet. Her pace is quicker than usual, possibly due to the rain, and she's carrying a pile of books.]

[It's Terra. Shadow's not sure if this is a good sign just yet. What are the chances of suddenly running into her in this... wherever he is. Though he just saw them all, leaving them behind, this is a weird chance encounter. Shouldn't she be on the Falcon? Why are they in this peaceful village?]

[But Shadow is quick to know that all can't be what it seems. There's something tense about this place despite the calm. He quietly makes his way toward Terra. Taking cover (for now) on the other side of a tree, he raises his voice to speak over the downpour.]

[Terra turns around, brushing a stray damp strand of hair back and scanning the area. That voice...it sounded familiar.]

[Celes is also wandering back home from the town when she sees someone sneaking around wearing new feather garb. Of course, she's never seen Shadow without his customary all black getup, so she's not going to recognize him. Still, she's a helpful sort to the new people so she's going to follow him into one of the places he ducks into.]

Need some help? I can give you directions to the clothing store.

[Celes. He freezes and stares at first when he sees her, and that she has clearly seen him. This place gets weirder. But now, a dilemma. He can tell she doesn't recognize him so far, and maybe it can stay that way... if he can get the info he needs from her quick enough.]

[She smiles at him at first, then her expression goes to confusion when she hears him. That voice sounds so familiar somehow. No, she'd need to find out more before she could say for sure.]

[Because she's so not letting him out of her sight quite yet. Not if it's indeed another familiar person, though she doesn't recognize that face at all, just the voice. Whoever he was, he's new, he had to be confused and she didn't want to make it worse than it had to be. So she's going to walk in the direction of the clothes shop first and motion for him to follow her. She'll point it out once it's in sight.]

[Shadow follows behind her, still wary, still tense and on edge. She hasn't said anything more, so, maybe he can still get away with this. Glances to the store in question. Doesn't look like it'll be hard to lift something from.]

[A kid, unarmed. Shadow's done a lot worse to get money, and it's not like he's going to kill the boy. Been ages since he's resorted to theft, though. He's rusty at it and still feeling out of sorts. But... he's desperate. Sneaks out quickly from hiding and... AMBUSH from behind. Which means trying to pick his pocket. If it goes right, he'd be able to run off before the kid knew what happened...]

[Considering Sora's got ten zillion pockets and they're all zipped... and he's a total packrat. Shadow's gonna find erasers, pencil stubs, train tickets from Twilight Town, rubber bands, random bits and pieces of paper, string, keychains, and just about everything else in the galaxy before he finds any munny. Or whatever this world uses as a currency, if it has one at all. So even though Sora's being kind of head-in-the-clouds, heeeee's gonna realize someone's back there sooner or later.]

[When means he gives a little yell of surprise and pushes away into a roll quick, coming up crouched and braced on one hand and a fighting expression on - and the Keyblade materializing in the hand not holding himself up. Yes, it's obvious he knows what he's doing.] What are you doing?

[Not expected. What Shadow mistook for a defenseless kid wasn't who he seemed. That... is a weapon? Or a key. Who fights with a key? He's come away with no gil for all his efforts, and nothing in the kid's pockets were remotely useful or valuable. Damn it. And he's got no weapon. That's beside the point, though.]

[Setzer is, in all likelihood, heading back to somewhere drier. It's not that he minds rain of course, it's just that his coat always takes forever to dry out properly.

[Edgar happens to be out taking a look at things, and finds himself caught in the rain. So, for the moment he's standing under the edge of a building, just out of the rain, hoping it will lighten up a bit soon. He does not notice Shadow at first, and wouldn't recognize him if he did.]

[Shadow spots Edgar, though. Book in front of face and leaning against a tree tactic is go! He also makes an effort to talk a little lower, with a slight Jidoorian accent. In the case that he gets seen more, maybe it'll help...]
