Flightplan, E-town trailer, and Viggo w/Jon Stewart...my three boys!!

*squee!* Yesterday was a verrrrrry good day for me, in the world of SQUEE!

We went and saw Flightplan, and OMG SEANIEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeee!!! He was sooo gorgeous and all crisp and formal and with his posh accent on. I melted quite a bit. But the film itself was a disappointment. Not the worst thing I've seen, I didn't feel pissed off afterward like ( Read more... )

3 in 1,
Heaven,
OL has hi res of the lovely Mr Bana - thread page 76 and 77.
http://www.elflady.com/orlandolove/showthread.php?t=588&page=76&pp=25
thanks to Mona and Anna.
Seeing the clips of Orlando in Elizabethtown, it took me a while to register the accent with the visuals as I had gotten so used to hearing the Brit voice.
He gets a great review from Empire magazine.
I can em them too you (the hi res Bana - he's trying to kill us- pics)
hugs

Thank you for the email! I went and snatched up the rest from OLove...whee! Pretty and GINORMOUS Bana!

I'm happy Orlando got a good review from Empire! He gets shredded unfairly by critics so often...argh...it'll be nice if he gets some more positive reviews this time out. *hugs him madly*

It is difficult to get used to the voice, isn't it? I expect a little ways into the film we'll forget all about it and just see the character.

I'm sooooo looking forward to this film!

Ok, 2 things.
1. Eric Bana should wear those jeans ALL THE TIME!
2. If you like Firefly...are you a fan of all of Joss Whedon's creations? Because if you are...we need to talk!

1. Ohhh, totally...he should have several pairs made, one for every day of the week. And maybe a pair out of leather for Friday nights. *G*

2. Unfortunately, Firefly's the only one that won me over. I tried Buffy a few times but it seemed like something that you had to really get into from the beginning--coming in on the middle it just seemed like there was too much that I didn't understand and too many in-jokes I didn't get!

1. Eric Bana in leather....wow, give me a second. Ok, I'm back...I think. Nope...nevermind...*my brain is out right now, please leave a message and it'll get back to you when it gets out of leather!Eric land*

2. Well, I'm kind of the opposite. I was into buffy from the beginning (well, the beginning of the re-runs at least) but I never really got into Firefly. That was my dad's thing. He showed me a couple of episodes, but I really think I just need to rent it and see it from the beginning. I'm excited about Serenity, regardless. Joss Whedon is AMAZING! He has said that if they make the 7th Harry Potter movie, he will direct it. Now, I don't know if that means anything for you...but it makes me entirely too happy! Two of my biggest loves coming together...what could be better than that? Oh, well, maybe of Orlando was thrown in there. And Eric...and Sean. Awww, just let them all come! I'm sure they'd have fun. *evil smirk*

I was enjoying Seanie doing the heavy breathing at the beginning when he's trying to decide whether to believe this frantic woman or not. I don't think it quite had the effect they were hoping for...hee...

Oh, you noticed that too! I tried hard not to squeak or have some overt reaction, like springing out of my chair and clawing frantically at the screen during that part. ;) Gah, that man...NNggghhh...

Aside from the lust factor, he was really good, though, too. He had some good emotional scenes and once again had you feeling sympathy for his character--they really wasted that opportunity. Grrr again.

He was terribly underutilized. I was mentally shaking my Fists of Rage (tm) at the directors/writers/assorted movie folks for not having him in more scenes. He's just so damned good. But I'm biased. We all know that. ;) *smooches you* *twines adoringly around Bean's ankles*

I'm glad I'm not alone on the Seanie heavy breathing thing...lol...we are such pervs! *claws screen with you* I really would like to get the chance someday to claw at him a bit in person...or even just adjust his collar...hee!

I was mentally shaking my Fists of Rage (tm)...

*HOWLS* LOL!! Trademarked and everything! We are biased, but in this case we're right, because nearly every review I read on Rotten Tomatoes praised Sean and said he added more to the role than was there. What was the most frustrating was that they seemed to be setting it up for him to have more involvement in the plot, and then they just dropped the ball. Grrr.

But the upside is how many good notices he recieved, and hubby said he's in the North Country previews as well, including his name said with the others, so that's all good stuff! *hearts him madly*

And there's gonna be another Sharpe! *SQUEE!*
