My tentative travel schedule for the rest of February (I need to book hotels and finalize for everything but L.A., but I won't be able to do that until tomorrow for reasons I'll explore later):

Mountain View: Mon. Feb 17 - Fri. Feb 21
San Francisco: Fri. Feb 21 - Thurs. Feb 27

I didn't really think this through as much as I should have, but I think I was desperate to be somewhere warm. ;)

I do not recommend losing your wallet. I will learn from this and make smarter choices about travel wallets and making copies of IDs that stay in my luggage just in case.

I had no wallet for half the trip, and eventually I convinced a bank to give me some of my own cash so I could buy an MTA pass and food. I'm definitely putting things into place to ameliorate future catastrophic failures, because GOOD LORD.
