Well, her publisher already made her send in a cover letter to TDS, so mostly we're just pimping the book in as many places as possible. If the sales are good, and there's buzz, it could happen! (I mean, it probably won't happen and Allyson would totally puke from nerves for weeks if it did, but geeks can dream!)

That book makes me so happy because a) she is my friend and b) I was there when the title was said. Sure I was in a party in a room but I WAS AT THE HOTEL!

Hee! That's great. I've known Allyson for years, and I've known almost everyone else in the book for years, and I've been hanging out at the Buffista board for years. This book really is about my chosen people, you know?

Mine too...being a Bronzer. The first time i met her i was I total dork cause she ran a board I belonged too. Now of course I know she is just as dorky as the rest of us!

You managed to watch hours and hours of actual tennis, and not just people dragging covers over courts?

(I must admit, watching the umpires get dragged off backwards on their high chairs never fails to entertain me.)

Bless the power of TiVo. I make it watch Wimbledon coverage while I'm at work, and when I get home, I spend a lot of time fast-forwarding.

Well, the Australian Open aired at 3 o'clock in the morning here...

Wimbledon matches start up at something like 5am my time, actually. I am never up that early voluntarily, which is another reason why I'm recording coverage.
