Things are a bit slow this week at work, what with everyone being out on vacation. To distract myself from death by boredom:
Awesome Things That Are Awesome
1. Wimbledon. Bless you, Wimbledon! I have completely avoided the Supernatural and Doctor Who wank by watching hours and hours of tennis! I am on Wimbledon.org right now watching the Matches in Progress page! GO VENUS!
2. Frank Iero and his tattooed hands of grabassery! Seriously, Frank Iero, I don't know what's gotten into you lately, but I LIKE IT. He's been makin' out with Gerard, stage-diving, spanking Gerard, cuddling and kissing sound techs, groping Gerard's ass, and wandering around wearing cuffed jeans that make him look TINY AND ADORABLE.
3. Martha Jones. I love you, Martha Jones! You kick ass! And you have a great ass!
4. Patrick Stump and his ninja hips! I don't know what's gotten into Patrick Stump, either, but this tour he's been swaggering and thrusting and generally making me die of lust from the way he owns the stage. If you add in his Meerkat T-shirt and the fact that lately he sang the blues and covered "Nothing Compares 2 U" and other Prince songs? I don't know how that much awesome can be contained in one tiny bespectacled white boy.
5. Will the Vampire People Please Leave the Lobby? by Allyson Beatrice. I will be pimping this book more at a later date, because Allyson is a deeply hilarious and yet thoughtful writer, and it's a book about us by one of us.
