If there is an empathy "switch" then those of us who have a "default setting" of "on" can, and i guess often do, turn it "off." Could criminals who are "paychopathic" be taught to want to have their switches on, and could those of us who turn our empathy switches off in the face of our enemies be taught to keep them on?
