Ohno hires Maki as his bakery assistant (Ohno/Maki)frostbittenloveOctober 7 2013, 00:46:09 UTC
Please let me do it.
Ohno finds himself unable to really say no --she was so gentle and unassuming and very easy on the eye that seeing her bow down to plead for him to take her in as his apprentice makes his heart ache.
He later on finds out just what he's actually gotten himself into when their combi becomes a trio, a quartet, a group of eight -- the sudden boom of patrons and regular customers to his once-meagre bakery has increased tenfold. Never mind that most of them were men of varying ages and stature in life, all besotted with Maki (though she argues that he has his "fair share of admirers") -- because his dream of running a small bakery has definitely come into fruition.
A dream come true, he congratulates himself, watching from his spot near the oven as Maki replenishes their display with freshly-baked bread, all warm and soft.
Just like her smile that greets him in his every waking moment.
meep. I knew I'd have trouble keeping to 3 sentences orz

A group of eight? Which eight? :p Does one of them have the initials S.S.? Teehee. XD
FRESHLY BAKED BREAD. You can't go with that and with Maki's smile, really. I bet Maki thinks the same thing about Ohno. How it's a dream come true for her to work in a bakery and with an owner like him.
Maki's version of a BBQ dinner (or not-so-much of it - Sho/Maki)frostbittenloveOctober 7 2013, 04:02:14 UTC
The last time Sho volunteered to prepare dinner, they ended up cleaning his overturned kitchen while waiting for the delivery guy to arrive with their dinner -- predictably, pizza and pasta.
Which was why Maki made sure she was one step ahead: the next time Sho invited her over for dinner in his mansion (despite saying he's learned a few kitchen tricks from his band mates), she brought her own marinated meat, her non-stick frying pan, and other simple cooking utensils and ingredients for their Korean barbecue dinner -- simple, easy, and just right for someone with a voracious appetite like Sho.
Her barbecue recipe doesn't even make it to the dining room because Sho's devoured them only moments after she's removed them from the pan, and she couldn't really fend him off because he looked famished, and neither can she actually admonish him for eating food she's prepared for him.
(Turns out, they still had to clean his kitchen up after dinner, as Sho had kitchen tricks up his sleeve, indeed,)
It wouldn't be too hard! Just setting up a new account and pimping to any interested comms and...yeah, okay, that's a lot of work that I clearly am too lazy for. We'd have better luck trying to con tinyangl into making it.
PS - I was just watching the "Kazoku Game" NG scenes from October 7th's episode of "Ganbatta Taishou." During one NG that takes place in the sauna, one of the celebs up in the corner of the screen watching the NG was our Maki-chan! And she was smiling so cutely and blushily that it made my fangirly heart go kathump!
A friend also told me (I haven't really had time to watch anything recently because I've been juggling 2 jobs, my N3 review and my JP classes) that there was a 'quiz part' where they had the guests guess what Sho and Aiba did in that VSArashi episode where they kissed and Maki's expression when she saw the kiss was like 'O__O OMG!!!' /covers mouth TROLOLOL she's too adorable idek
TV Stations, flying boxes, flower-printed dresses (Yamapi/Maki)frostbittenloveOctober 14 2013, 15:17:20 UTC
Five years after working together on their last project Yamashita sees her in the hallways of FujiTV, dressed to kill (or with the intention to inflict bodily harm as she passes by in her blood red killer heels and red dress with flowers embroidered on black lace material) and he thinks maybe, just maybe, this was what it meant when Aikawa-san told him, back then, you don't know what you're missing.
He takes careful, slow, then fast steps toward her, intent on chatting her up, catching up with her, asking her if she's amendable with having coffee after taping for old times' sake (even if just at the Studio Cafeteria at the second floor--)
Yamashita trips--predictably, as he hasn't been paying attention to his surroundings nor did he hear the staff warn him of an incoming cart of boxes-- and he catches himself before he makes a fool out of himself; when he finishes apologising to the VS Arashi staff and manages to find her again, Maki's beaming up at his senior, bright eyes twinkling and face radiant -- reminiscent of the way she's

OMG. WHY DID LJ NOT NOTIFY ME OF YOUR REPLY?!
I thought you ended up not writing my stupid (I know, hehe) prompts.
I wanna cry. ;A: You always write beautifully and your style is so familiar (to me, that is) that I wanna start writing again. Though probably not Yamapi. Or Yamaki. Or maybe I should not write at all, heh.
This is so simple but it radiates the emotions and thoughts necessary. Kyaaa. <3
