TV Stations, flying boxes, flower-printed dresses (Yamapi/Maki)frostbittenloveOctober 14 2013, 15:17:20 UTC
Five years after working together on their last project Yamashita sees her in the hallways of FujiTV, dressed to kill (or with the intention to inflict bodily harm as she passes by in her blood red killer heels and red dress with flowers embroidered on black lace material) and he thinks maybe, just maybe, this was what it meant when Aikawa-san told him, back then, you don't know what you're missing.
He takes careful, slow, then fast steps toward her, intent on chatting her up, catching up with her, asking her if she's amendable with having coffee after taping for old times' sake (even if just at the Studio Cafeteria at the second floor--)
Yamashita trips--predictably, as he hasn't been paying attention to his surroundings nor did he hear the staff warn him of an incoming cart of boxes-- and he catches himself before he makes a fool out of himself; when he finishes apologising to the VS Arashi staff and manages to find her again, Maki's beaming up at his senior, bright eyes twinkling and face radiant -- reminiscent of the way she's

OMG. WHY DID LJ NOT NOTIFY ME OF YOUR REPLY?!
I thought you ended up not writing my stupid (I know, hehe) prompts.
I wanna cry. ;A: You always write beautifully and your style is so familiar (to me, that is) that I wanna start writing again. Though probably not Yamapi. Or Yamaki. Or maybe I should not write at all, heh.
This is so simple but it radiates the emotions and thoughts necessary. Kyaaa. <3
Airports, post-its, tears (Maki/Meisa MISSxMATCH FOREVERRR)frostbittenloveOctober 16 2013, 13:00:41 UTC
Tina has finally fallen asleep, just as she and Jin were about to give up trying to appease the baby who has been crying since they've arrived at Narita. It was her first long-haul flight; perhaps her first and only long-haul flight in a few years, as California promises a more fruitful and more quiet life (away from prying eyes).
Meisa is thankful when Jin takes their baby away from her arms, and she stretches--only enough to get blood back to her numbed arms--and just in time for the the flight attendant who passed by their seats to hand her a small package.
Be happy, a familiar handwriting reads, and Meisa smiles through her tears as a photo frame greets her vision where a photo of the two of them with little Tina between them (a photo taken by Jin) sits, the characters Satsuki and Marina emblazoned on top of the glued and hand-crafted flowers and shells that decorated the once plain photo frame.
Bleah, Jin. *gets bricked* I suppose it can't be helped since Jin is babydaddy.
Be happy. How can you use own freakin' sentence consisting of two words be so powerful? I can totally picture this in my mind's eye. Best friends supporting each other, no matter what.
