Are we allowed to use "outside" images that aren't from a shounen or seinen animanga series in the icon, if we have included an image that is from from a shounen or seinen animanga series? c:

As long as the "outside" images are only enhancing the icon and aren't the main subject of the icon, they're allowed.

If you have a specific idea in mind you can ask here and I'll answer it without c&ping the question.

Do cyborgs count as robots?

Yes. Cyborgs, Androids and mech suits all count as robots.

But from what I'm reading, it's ok as long as there is some *team color* on my icon?

It has to be noticeable - enough that every can see it's for your team. For example, the icon I'm using here could qualify as an icon for the pirate team.

You can use any shade of the color though! It doesn't have to be the same shade as on the team icons.
