Challenge 01: Capture the Flag
Capture the Flag (CTF) is a traditional outdoor sport often played by children or sometimes adults where two teams each have a flag (or other marker) and the objective is to capture the other team's flag, located at the team's "base," and bring it safely back to their own base. - from Wikipedia.
What's a showdown without a little friendly fire? To start things off we'll be playing a good old clean game of capture the flag... but wait, there aren't any flags. I guess you'll have to make some first.
THE CHALLENGE
This week's challenge is to make an icon that represents your team in some way. This can be through text, choice of character*, manipulation - whatever you come up with. Additionally, your team color should be prevalent in the icon, but it does not need to be the focal color. No matter how the color is used it should be obvious that it's for your team.
* character that is a pirate, ninja, zombie, or some form of robot depending which team you're on.

The challenge is open to all participants who signed up. Here are the teams again for reference:

checklist/additional information
► your icon must use an official image from any shounen or seinen animanga series
► your icon must include your team color as a main color
► your icon must represent your team in some manner
► be creative with your icons - there are no limitations aside from subject and lj icon standards (100x100px, 40 kb - .png is preferred as .jpg compression can leave behind some ugly artifacts)
► please read the rules before submitting
► your submission should be made like this, using the provided form:

► there are no opportunities for bonus points this challenge
► voting will gain you 2 bonus points
► if you advertised the community before the sign-up deadline you will get 5 bonus points
► people's choice will receive 3 bonus points, mod's choice will not receive any bonus
► you will receive 1 point for every vote you earn
► there will be NO eliminations this week
► you may not use your skip in this challenge
