Speaking of our 5 years.

This is Jin's part of an interview from soon after their debut c:

I was cleaning out some things today and found the first pages of KAT-TUN I ever had, right from around debut time and wanted to do this ^^; seeing as I've been staring at it for three years not reading it~ I'm planning on doing Kame's too, but.. Jin was on the first page and Kame on the last orz ;;
As always, it's not 100% accurate I'm sure~ and I finished at nearly 2am, so forgive any hideous spelling/grammar mistakes, chances are they're mine and not Jin's ;;
- Please tell us your motive for entering as a Jr.
My parents sent my resume* to the Jimusho. Since I was little I'd wanted to be a performer, and I restlessly told my parents this. Although any Jimusho would have been good, my parents said they sent it to Johnny's by chance. But I didn't pass the audition. When it was time to leave, I didn't know where to return my name card** so I asked the Oji-san nearby 'Where should I return this to?'. and it seemed he made a decision as he said 'YOU can stay'. That Oji-san was the company president *laugh*. Yeah, Nakamaru was at that audition too. But it doesn't make sense that Nakamaru passed and as I said, I failed *laugh*

* I'd call it a CV, but I don't know if it's one of those words that varies from country to country ^^;
** it says 'chest plate' but.. that just sounded weird orz ;;
- At the time you entered as a Jr. what were you like?
I was an energetic kid. At that time because I'd have 1~2 dance lessons a week, the lessons were really fun. As I wasn't dancing from experience, behaving like I remembered was a new test. The lessons always lasted three hours, but at the rehearsals before a concert they would be six hours long. Although it was strict and I was dead tired, it wasn't any trouble.
- What was your first job?
Magazine. Although I don't remember what we did, just nine of us new Jr.'s gathered for the shoot. I remember Nakamaru, Tsukada (A.B.C-Z) and Fujigaya (Kis-My-Ft2) being there [sorry I don't know the names ;;]. The first time I stood infront of a camera I wasn't nervous at all~ Probably because we were all together.
- Which job has left the biggest impression?

「8時だJ]. I get the feeling that was the first programme I appeared on. Wasn't it when I was 14? But the reason it left an impression wasn't because it was my first programme. I got my laptop from this programme~ There was a quiz and challenge corner, and if you had success in the quiz and success in the challenge, you were given a stamp. So I collected enough for anything you could want. I'm not that smart but I have a short temper *laugh* so I won the quiz. But it wasn't because I wanted the laptop that when I heard 'what do you want?' I came out slightly flushed with the laptop. So even though I got it I hardly used it. And it broke fast *laugh*
[..I think he means he was determined to win it just because he's stubborn, not because he wanted it >3>]
- What was your impression when KAT-TUN was formed?
I really didn't think we'd be popular, looking at everyones faces *laugh* This is including me. But then we had a CD debut in a huge hall, and our clumsy work was recognised by the world, I think.

- What is something a Senpai has said that left a lasting impression?

Takizawa (Hideaki)-kun telling me 'During a solo it's alright to not dance.' like if everyone is all dancing it's boring. And to think about what the situation around you is like. With that said, look to see what the other members are doing an then decide whether to dance or not.
- What was your frame of mind when the debut was decided?
When I first heard talk of the debut, I couldn't think anything but 'へー'*. The first person to say 'congratulations' to me was the writer of a magazine. There were alot of people that said 'congratulations' during the time of the debut, and although the debut caused a big fuss, myself I'd say it was nothing particular to worry about. I'd say nothing had changed from usual. Speaking of releasing a CD, it's one of works assigned tasks. I think it's no more than a checkpoint on account of a target. My target is.... nothing in particular *laugh* So, really there is something, but it's a secret not suitable to say!

* the sound 'he' ;; I.. wasn't sure how to put that..
..Jin is a strange person. but then pre/post hiatus Jin are very different c:
