sometimes I get in the zone at work and I kind of forget what I'm doing, yet continue doing it efficiently. but I hate my job so much that doesn't usually happen.

it happens from time to time. like monday night when I came back from band practice I was in the zone and wrote a new guitar riff that I like a lot. we didn't get a lot done during that practice, so when I got home all I wanted to do was write something new.

or if I want to cheat, I can do like the radio commercial says. "Get in the zone! AUTO-ZONE!"

I was hoping someone would bring up the auto-zone commercial. I was hoping I'd get into the zone last night because I had to catch up on a month's worth of work in one night, but the zone escaped me.

The last time I was in the zone I think was when I was playing boggle with my parents.

I don't think I've done or been either, but once I sang "I've got the power" along with whichever of the 30 commercials it's in at any given time.
