Today, I learned to weld. I needed to learn so I could make the guns for the show at Catalyst, so John taught me. It's not actually as hard as I thought it would be. I just need to practice to make it pretty. But now I can add that onto my list of skills on my resume.

John and I went to see Little Miss Sunshine yesterday. It was one of the funniest movies I've seen in awhile. It made me laugh harder than Anchorman. That's how funny it was. Anyone who hasn't seen it, must. You will be happy. Ariana, thanks for your awesome movie recommendation.

I'm sitting here, waiting for it to be time for me to leave for my production meeting in DC for Catalyst. I'm also waiting for it to be time for me to come home from said meeting because Melissa Mee will be here! I'm so excited that she's coming to visit. I just realized yesterday how bad my driving tan really is. A couple of days ago, my left arm just looked slightly darker than my right. Yesterday, I was putting my hair up in the bathroom and I noticed that my left arm is like 4 shades darker than my right. This is getting out of control. So yesterday I got to see Jenna!! Hooray! She met up with me between shows, and we went to dinner at Mama Lucia's. It was just like old times. I also met her boy. I only met him for a minutes, but he seemed cool. I'm glad she found him and I can't wait till she moves back to the area cause I miss her!!!

I now know why I'm not a costumer. It's because I can't stand sewing for long ass periods of time. And my back hurts. For the past two days, I've been doing nothing but patterning out and sewing pennants for King Lear at CSC. I'm just glad that phase is over.

So what is the scariest thing that can happen in the suburbs besides someone trying to rob you at gun/knife point? Finding a snake in the stairwell of your apartment complex. I passed my belay test last night! Whoohoo! This means, I can be someone's counterweight while they climb up a wall. It means that I am in charge of someone's life. I'm so happy that I passed. I felt bad that Eric and John could belay me, but I couldn't belay them. Horray!
