Ok so I'm a sucker for Adam Sandler films and when I scored tickets to see Grown Ups I was totally pumped. It had a plethora of SNL people in there (if only Chris Farley was still around...) so you knew it was going to be stupid but totally hilarious. And it was.

Last week I commenced Bikram yoga. Wow. It is INSANE. So hot, sweaty and mentally challenging but amazing at the same time. Also amazing on your bowels. I was sick for 5 days straight... State of Origin was pretty epic. Sold out event with lots of drunken, excited men (and crazy women) filling the stadium with an amazing atmosphere. Rock 'n' Rolllllll
Rockhampton was pretty gnarly. Went out Saturday night. BIG night. Bed at like 4-5am. The 'cool' place to go there is this place that's a half strip joint, half night club called Zodiac. Dinner last night was really lovely! I love those girls so much and they make me laugh until my cheeks hurt. I wish we caught up more often but I suppose the downside to getting older, is trying to find time to catch up with old friends as well as the new which is difficult with life's responsibilities. Edamame at St Lucia... very yummy, cheap and authentic Japanese food. Gosh I love it. Chicken Karaage Udon Soup and some edamame beans for $16. Looking forward to tonight.
