*squeals with happiness* You have so totally made my day with this. I am currently in class *looks contrite* so cannot review and squee over your brilliance properly but I will be back this afternoon with in-depth review. ♥♥♥♥

The scent of oranges filled the air.

I am forever going to associate Yuya with oranges now. Citrusy, tart, and very good for you.

He was utterly exhausted with the kind of weariness that made him wish he could simply melt into the floor and not wake up for a hundred years.

Aww, poor Kame! But you describe it so prettily that it almost makes me want him to suffer. *coughs*

Each evening when he came home from work there was a new scent in the air from whatever his other self had prepared to eat, or there was some small touch in the apartment to let Kame know that there was a thoughtful being inhabiting his personal space. A note, a drawing, a flower...and always, food.

It's so domestic and sweet and just so Yuya to do that. And Kame so so so needs someone to do that for him. ♥ you. They are so good for each other!

Kame found Yuya in the bedroom, stretched out, fully-dressed, and face down on the bed.

And who wouldn't want to come home to that? XD. I love this line.

He watched Yuya sleep, and the odd tingling sensation that ( ... )

Ah, honey, how can I thank you for your kindness? *hugs* I'm so glad you like this, as it's YOUR genius of generating this pair that brought this into existence. As I've told you elsewhere, this fic was originally titled "Orange-Scented Love," but I thought that would be too weird, so I replaced it with something equally obscure. ;) I don't know how or why, but that line about the oranges was incredibly powerful and strong in my mind. I wanted to do more with it, but sadly, didnt. The cake was made from those oranges, btw.

The ending lines were also very strong in my mind. I think it might be cliche (tadaima, okaeri) but it was also irresistable! :) Again, I'm so glad you like this, and I promise, if I can find more Yuya/Kame I will write it and of course let you know. This pairing NEEDS MORE FIC.

*blushes*! It was a throwaway comment someone else made that had me thinking it could actually work, and then I went and wrote it because I cannot let things go! Yuya is just so perfect for Kame in ways that no one else is. The orange theme is wonderful, I was wondering why it didn't come back but should have realized it was the cake! *smacks self on forehead* Of course!

The title is awesome, and reflects the dreamlike quality of the fic very nicely. It's sweet and fluffy and pretty, and makes me think of fluffy and huggable things.

Cliches are only cliches when they're not used correctly! And the way you worked it in was lovely. It just captured the moment so well. The level of their relationship, the things that don't need to be said. YES THEY DO. HOW CAN ANYONE NOT WANT MORE YUYAKAME?!

Hi! I got here through k0uryuu's rec. Wow. The entire thing flows very well. I love the acceptance that they have for each other. The rational is not a factor because everything feels right--that Yuya fits into his daily routine, cooking for him; feeling like he could drown in this sensation of perfect serenity

I enjoyed it especially because Kame seems to have found silent strength in the form of Yuya.

I thought it was wonderfully done.

Thank you so much! This fic was extremely unusual for me. In general I write miniscule amounts of fanfic and usually when I do, they're long angsty epics. ;) So writing something, short, sweet, and fluffy is a major aberration.

I still can't believe that you think it flows well, when I think I spent maybe 30 minutes writing it, and I wasn't think about anything more than just getting it out of my head. *laugh* I'm really captivated by this pairing, totally enraptured.

because Kame seems to have found silent strength in the form of Yuya.

I totally feel that way about them. It has nothing to do with the fact that they look identical, but more that their personalities need each other (esp. Kame)...because they are totally different from one another, at least in my 'verse.

*incoherent squeeing*

*dies*

That was just so lovely. I don't think I can find any other word to describe it. There was just the most perfect balance of sweetness and real life in it where it didn't seem to fluffy but still leaves a real light feeling somewhere in my stomach.

My favorite lines:

The scent of oranges filled the air.

Not sure why but I love this line. Maybe it's because my sister and my dad and me used to always make fresh-squeezed orange juice, so there are some sweet memories. I think oranges just made it seem like their was some hidden sweetness or love in the air and yet oranges have this hidden spunk too which I'm thinking is very Yuya (but I haven't seen the show yet!)

He was utterly exhausted with the kind of weariness that made him wish he could simply melt into the floor and not wake up for a hundred years. He couldn't remember what it was like to feel rested...to actually feel good. Those two lines were mind-blowing amazing. Just the way you conveyed his weariness. It seemed that Kame was more than just ( ... )

What an incredibly sweet comment! Thank you very much. You're too kind! I'm really, really glad you like this, esp. because I'm completely head over heels for this pairing.

This fic is awesome. It flowed so well! And the whole Kame in love with himself (well Yuya, but still..) thing.... That narcissist!! XD

I loved it, thank you so much for writing! :)

Thank you so much! I adore this pairing :) In my view of them, I do see them as being completely different, though - the only thing that really connects them is that they look identical. Yuya is Yuya, while Kame tries to be Yuya for a drama.I don't know if that makes sense of if I'm explaining it very well. The way that I see the pairing (which is probably different from others) is just that Yuya is wholly himself while Kame is the fractured self. And Yuya helps him to be whole. *hugs them*

I'm so glad you liked this, and thanks very much for the nice comment!

LOL. Yup, I get what you mean! It's like Kame's the more fragile and insecure of the two? And Yuya's just being well.. himself? :)

Oh yes, and sorry for being a complete busybody but.... YES, PLEASE DO WRITE A YUYAKAME FOOD SEQUEL!!! XD orange cake...!?! ;)

You got it. Kame is the one who's trying too hard and working himself to death and needs a safety net and someone to really nurture him. Yuya just Is. He's that guy, the one who looks after others. And I'm hoping that by letting Yuya look after him, that Kame is able to give Yuya what he needs, too. :) Gah, I love them so much!

sorry for being a complete busybody but....

Please, please, never apologize for such things. :) I really want to write a sequel to this!

Yuya faced him now, both of them on their sides and curled like two halves of an intertwined heart toward each other.

WHOA. You couldn't have described it better. That was a really great mental image ^^

Kame opened like a night-blooming flower and he was spinning and falling but there was Yuya, always Yuya, and there was no longer any space between them.

And that took my breath away.

Your writing's gorgeous!♥ I would read your other fics, only that I haven't had a chance to watch any of them.

Oh I (finally) watched a bit of ep7 Sapuri, and promptly fell in love with Yuya :D

Oh, YES! I'm so very glad you fell in love with Yuya and so glad you liked this. Really, I'm humbled by all the praise. I just want everyone to love Yuya/Kame as I do. :)

And I wouldn't suggest trying to read any of the other fics, although it's sweet of you to want to. They are long, quite spoilery, and yeah, probably best enjoyed only if you know the fandoms. No worries, I'm not fussed. :)
