Awwww, thank you so much for taking a chance. I tend to prefer Akame myself, so I was rather surprised to find myself so inspired by k0uryuu that this just came pouring out.

Thank you so much for your kind words, and I'm really glad you liked this. :)

*picks herself up from the puddle of goo that has become of her*

That was so beautiful *cries* This pairing... it's so.. so perfect. I love how Kame needs Yuya and that Yuya is able to give Kame that special something. Half way through the fic I started reading it softly aloud (no idea why, it just happened :P) and a few times I just kept going back to reread lines because they made me all warm and fuzzy. When I read the occasional Akame, Pin etc. fic they can be extremely sweet, but I think with YuKame there's just that special touch, and they feel like they're really meant to be. EEEEK I make no sense, so I will just reassure you of how wonderful this fic is ♥

You're so sweet and wonderful. *loves you* I'm so amazed that everyone likes this little fic. I just couldn't help myself in writing it and I'm just so ridiculously glad that you guys like it, too! Your comment is amazing - I'm floored. I love that you were reading it aloud (I do that too sometimes).

*hugs you tight* I'm so touched.

The scent of oranges grew stronger as he passed by the kitchen... He replaced the note on the table and turned.

I loved your vivid description of the sweetness of Yuya, and
all the cute little things he does for Kame, who comes home dead-tired every night. ♥

He had this feeling that as long as he had Yuya, he could hold on a little longer.

I loved this line because it shows that Yuya relieves Kame of his stress and anything else eating at him not only by his gestures but just being there by him, which I think is just adorable!

Yuya faced him now, both of them on their sides and curled like two halves of an intertwined heart toward each other.

I love the symbolism of this sentence, and it makes me all giggly and happy to imagine this scene. ♥

I knew it'd be good since you wrote it and I knew you're an awesome writer, but it makes me even better since it's a pairing I adore. *Blames k0uryuu* LOL. Hope you have inspiration to write more. *Hugs*

*hugs you*

I'm so glad you like this. You are so incredibly sweet that I just don't know what to say. Call me crazy, but I'm just so, so glad the people like this pairing and this little confection.

Hope you have inspiration to write more.

Me, too. My mind is running around in circles right now...

This is so lovely. Everybody else already mentioned all the lines that are my favourites too. The beginning and the ending are both so strong, and I love how they and the whole fic is so filled with the different senses, especially smell and touch, of which we think that they are much more primitive than the others, because they are so much more connected to our emotions.
I love how you captured that and how they can heal a weary person like Kame is.
Thanks so much for it.

ina, thank you very much!

I love how you captured that and how they can heal a weary person like Kame is.

This pair deserves each other! I can't even let myself think about the logic or "reality" of the situation - all I can think of is that Kame needs Yuya to help him find balance and peace. I'm so glad you like this.
