I really thought you did a great job of showing the relationship between Neal, Peter and El from Corinne's pov. Sometimes this format doesn't give me a satisfying show of the main characters from an original character, but you really did a good job of that.

And I've didn’t realize how much I missed mischievous Neal. I think him repeatedly stealing things from Corinne was probably one of my favorite part:D Well, right after the image of Neal being draped first on El and then on Peter. Awww ♥ And Neal's need to find Peter and relief after hearing his voice ♥ Liked that Peter knew Neal didn't run and Neal didn't sound unhappy on a prospect of going back to NY, and El was ready to protect Neal from Corinne. All the notes in Peter's file were great. And I really liked Corinne, too.
And, like with your other post-5x13 fic, I find myself longing for more. I just realized that of course Peter would visit El in DC, and maybe he could sometimes bring Neal with him, too... Lots of possibilities.
Thank you for writing this.

But Corinne had always believed that it was not just intelligence and courage that made a good agent, but also heart. Compassion. Caring. In her nearly three decades with the Bureau, she'd met quite a few empathy-impaired agents, and not nearly enough whose biggest flaw was caring too much.
It was very clear that Peter Burke was about as emotionally compromised by his CI as it was possible to get.
And it was equally clear, to Corinne at least, that neither one of them would change it for the world.
made me go all aww.
