The senior vice president of the the McCormick Group, who I met while playing in the charity poker tournament last month, just invited me to play in his home game this Friday. This is a particularly exciting development because he does VC and has a lot of connections. Potentially a coup de grace from a professional and recreational standpoint.

I hate losing things. My mind and my car keys especially. I have to do more to improve my schedule, as I am not finding the time in the week, let alone the day, to do it all. And yesterday I managed to lose my key to the Cabriolet and not of course now I can't find my spare.

Grumble. Poker tonight. I had better win big.

My previous 2 computers will forever seem slow now that I'm working on a G5. It isn't even MP, and a mere 1.6 Ghz, but man does it fly. The 17" monitor is pretty nice to look at, too.

The *****EVERYONE****** party, AKA Doom party, went off very successfully Saturday night at the lunnderdome. We consumed 2 kegs, and over a dozen liters of various liquors, and had a net gain in bottled beer. Who knew that they had it in them? In ten days the Terps have gone from a bubble team for the NCAA selection committee to a #4 seed in the Phoenix bracket. Their Sherman-like march through the ACC tournament left no North Carolina team unscathed.
