....Specifically, I am the proud recipient of a 'You Made a Difference' plaque for having completed the most 'tasks' - inventory records created/edited, basically - in the month of October. Ooh, gorgeous colors in that one. Now you need a pair of boots to go with it, like the macy's page suggests (Have mentioned I manage a shoe store?)

*grin* I know, I totally need new winter boots. On the other hand, as Shoemom is fond of pointing out, I also totally need that Florida vacation we're planning over the holidays.

Not at all. Kind of hard to explain, though...I used to be a Merchandise Associate, basically buyer's admin assistant, until the position was eliminated.
Now I'm what's called an Item Associate, meaning I"m part of a pool that takes the inventory record creation/maintenance requests (includes SKU creation, promotion creation, markdowns, PO modifications, whatever needs doing) from the Apparel buying group and processes them. Same thing I used to do, except they took out the exciting parts and made it a group effort. :)
