"Charging ahead blindly only works when you have a goal." That sounds kinda wise, doesn't it... Personally I'm the charging ahead type, but I was always charging ahead on a narrow line. That's a good metaphor, isn't it? I've decided to stop trying to force it. If I'm really apparently so mature and not-seventeenlike, I can't ruin it by acting ( Read more... )

You like wise-sounding phrases, don't you?

I've never been a fan of charging ahead blindly at all. It always struck me as better to know what you're going to do, and how you're going to achieve your aims.

Still, I think that with regards to that, I don't think it's something people should worry about. If you're concerned with not faltering from a 'mature' image, then isn't that similar to 'charging ahead on a narrow line'? I'd have thought the best action would be to simply be yourself without thinking about it.

Well, they make me sound clever, don't they?

Anyway, that's exactly the problem. Once I start thinking about things, I start acting strangely, not natural at all. Charging ahead blindly, without thinking, that's the goal. For me.

Is that something you're that concerned with?

Good luck, then. I'm not sure how you'd go about that.

Not really. It's more like a way to fake it. [Laugh. He's joking.]

Anyway, since I'm not much for deep thinking, it leads to trouble when I try. I have to stop getting distracted, that's all I mean.

For trying to pick a fight. Twice, actually. For reacting childishly. For pulling you into business that wasn't yours. For being rude...

You said you were gonna be a doctor again. Well, I know it's obnoxious to ask, and most of the other doctors are refusing point blank... but I wanted to say, if you ever decided to take chips out, and the place they're in now is ever found out... I'd appreciate it if you could consider me for that.
