Thinking back to last time I was here... the scientists kinda did weird stuff on Christmas and New Year's and a couple of other holidays, didn't they? But maybe they'll be overcome by love this time and it'll be nice instead of weird. I hope so. This will actually be my first Valentine's Day. I was told last year one of our gracious hosts gave everyone chocolate.

Well, that's nice of them, at least. Especially if it was good quality chocolate that can be recycled.

To be honest, I don't have much of a sweet tooth. But what I'd really like is chocolate for baking, y'know? Chocolate cakes and things. Is chocolate one of those things they didn't invent until the modern age?

There's plenty of milk in the kitchen at the high school. As for butter, I have a little. How much do you need?
