By the way, it's February here, right?

That means it's getting to Valentine's Day. Let me explain. On February 14th, all the girls are supposed to give chocolates to the guys they like. Of course, I guess any sort of presents are fine, as long as they're heartfelt.

Fin wouldn't mind making chocolate but she hasn't ever tried before. Does this place even have the ingredients?

Well, in a place like this, other kinds of sweets and presents would probably work, too. Special circumstances...

So if Fin made different kinds of candy, it would work? Fin also knows ribbons and cards sometimes work too. Maybe in the shapes of hearts?

I think anyone would be happy just to get a gift from a nice girl, no matter what kind. Chocolate is just the tradition.

Uh-huh! I picked it myself!

...but if it's my birthday, why do I have to give away my chocolates?

Because it's a holiday, too. It came first. So it'll just be a present exchange.

[Whoops. Well then, I'm barraging you with questions anyway.]

Why does it have to be a girl giving something to a boy, what exactly are chocolates, and why does it have to be a holiday?

Because it's tradition, delicious, and because it is.

See, I can see you ignoring White Day because you're a loner, but Valentine's is a day for free chocolates.

That's right. It's a day for girls to express their love.

But I thought lovers exchange cards, flowers or confectioneries during that day. And it's usually from a man to a woman.

No... the guys do that on White Day. Or is it different in other places...
