So I got into Graphic Design at Uni SA.  Woo hoo.  I was excited until just now as I've just started getting caught up in the stress of trying to figure out what the fuck is going on with enrolement and orientation.  Uni SA is at an extremely annoying part of the city to get to by bus and I have no idea where the parking area is.  The Flinders

Sometimes I really can't stand Adelaide. I mean I do love it - but in a different way to you guys. I'm suffocating here. I am in the biggest rut of my life. The only reason I haven't packed my bags and left is because of you guys. I would literally hop on a plane with my savings and stay at Heather's place til I could find my own. When I went to Melbourne the other weekend - I was there for two days. And in those two days I encountered more opportunities than I had encountered in Adelaide in the last TWO YEARS. That one day I walked around and looked at the buildings and thought "I could do anything here". I felt free for the first time in years. I walked around the CBD on my own where I had no idea where anything was. I've only ever been there once before, but this time it felt so much more like home.

If we (meaning your friends) are the only thing keeping you in Adelaide, maybe you should reassess. Communication between people in different cities has never been easier and flights between Melbourne and Adelaide are pretty cheap.
Not suggesting that moving to Melbourne would solve everything... just saying that we are not a good reason for you to rule out the possibility. What if you turn around and look at us in 5 years time and blame us for stopping you? When we never really did?
