Looking forward

Well, as I somewhat anticipated, I was laid off today. I knew it was a matter of time, and suspected I'd be next in line after the last few lay-offs. Most of the departments are run by a single person, and mine, as slow as it was, had three people, so I had a feeling it was coming. I'm a little bummed, in theory, but it's somewhat of a relief. I

Boo to getting laid off. :/ I wrote a comment earlier but LJ ate it! I hope you find something good soon... or go to Japan. I will live vicariously through you if you do! I've been thinking about Japan a lot since the earthquake. Hope they get the nuclear situation under control soon.

Your blog looks super cool! I've been half toying with the idea of starting one myself. Maybe during the summer. Hmmm...

Thanks! You should - Wordpress is definitely very easy to use! It's like blogging for dummies, ha ha. Even though I know a bit of HTML, they have tabs to help you do everything (upload pics, embed videos, etc).

I can't wait, either! I just wish a seat sale would come up! We're hoping to stay the week after the wedding, for the fish, fun and folk fest. :) How long are you guys staying in NL?

Yeah, I'm surprised, too. A year ago, she claimed to be pregnant on FB, but then nothing else was said about it, so I'm not sure what happened. The worst thing about it is, she and her mom live with so much hate toward the world, and that's how the baby will be raised (like Caitlin was). The other day, I asked Caitlin on FB how far along she is, and her mom wrote a nasty rant about how all Pettens (Caitlin's ex) and Chappells are horrible people! *rolls eyes*
