Sobbing and keening in a corner right now. You hit the nail on the head that I didn't even realise existed. I just found myself thinking "of course OF COURSE" all the way through.

I think " who apologised to the first girl he slept with" broke me

Basically: gorgeous and heartwrenching and beautiful.

One of the most impressive story I have ever read,really.The digging of Kirk's past and character is amazing.Ever since I have read this I can't help wondering what would it like if I translate it to Chinese.It would be a little difficult to me cos some sentences are not that easy to translate properly, but still, I would like to ask for your permission.
