Progress on the car is being made.  Finally took it to Hell (Canadian Tire) yesterday to get the flat tire examined to see if it could be patched.  It couldn't, must have been a gash in the tire.   Had Canadian Tire replace the flat with a new one, check all the other tires (the rest were fine, apparently, not balding), rotate and balance.   The
