Happy Birthday, mantaraggio!

I forgot how much I LOVE The Mary Tyler Moore Show. And love it I do! I used to watch it nearly everyday as a kid. I picked up the first three seasons the other day and I haven't stopped watching since. It makes me really giddy...and I hate that word. Oh. Man. American Idol is all about watching Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell be so very very gay with eachother. Because they? Are total boyfriends in the privacy of their own homes. And I am so totally guilty of reading Simon/Ryan RPF. Is the fact that I have a slash OTP for a reality tv show sad? Sub-question: Should I care?

Also, guessing as to what the hell Paula has in that Coca Cola Placement Ad Cup of hers is amusing because I'm pretty sure that it's always some kind of alcoholic beverage.

Ha! You make a good point. And if it's sad that you have an OTP for a reality tv show that it's worse that I immediately went looking for Simon/Ryan RPF after you mentioned it. Damn you.

Heh. I never watched American Idol, but I do still own my Paula Abdul tape from when I was 11, and I love it still. Don't judge me!

Oh, does it have that song that goes "Girlfriend, why do you let him treat you so bad? Ohhhhh. Girlfriend, you know you were the best he ever had, oh ooh ohhh oh..."? Or was that even Paula Abdul? I know it was too late for Sheila E. Please help me, because now I have random 80s pop tunes in my head!
