Jul 11, 2009 16:07

You. Are. Wrong.

How many times do I have to remind you that your ship is bad and you should feel bad? Didn't you watch the series properly?! Aang does not love or care about Katara. He's a selfish little boy who has to have his own way and only sees her as a shiny object, his prize for winning the day. The only reason Kataang is canon is because ( Read more... )

No, they're wrong because Katara's a frigid cuntish bitch! She yells at everyone and always has to have her way, and she cries too much! And Jun is a mean bitch, she hits the guys and tries to force poor Ken to screw her when he's obviously much better off with Joe!

You sure you're not a Zootard? XD Cause you're sounding more and more like them every time you hate on Aang.

And obviously someone never watched "God Phoenix Reborn" if you think Ken ignores Ryu. XP

For the last time, I am not a Zutara fan in any way, shape or form. I would imagine my user icon and handle of "Fire Lady Mai" on the forums would tip you off. Or the fact that I singlehandedly run a Mai/Zuko blog and most of my fanfic contributions are Mai/Zuko.

For the last fucking time, LEAVE AANG ALONE! Stop watching the show with your butt and pay some fucking attention to how much Aang obviously and canonically cares for Katara, and that Bryke did not treat her like Aang's prize for saving the world!

And Ken cares very much for his teammates, FYI. And he's oblivious to all girls' romantic advances, not just Jun. I'll admit the whole running up a tab thing isn't too smart of him, but that alone doesn't mean he treats her like dirt. Watch the Jigokillers episodes again-and this time, don't shut your eyes and plug your ears after he sets fire to the field! Even if Ken/Jun is far from canon, it's obvious on many occasions that he cares deeply for her.

No. Because if you were watching the series correctly, you would see that Aang is in actuality a complete monster. Here is the proof:

*He runs away and it's all his fault the Air Nomads die. He just wanted to play all day and didn't care what happened to his people.
*He purposely hides a letter from Hakoda from Katara and Sokka, because he selfishly wants them to stay by his side. If I were Sokka or Katara I'd have slapped him.
*Burning Katara's hands. And he claims to have true, genuine feelings for her?! Sokka basically says what we're all thinking, it's all Aang's fault. And earlier in the episode he ruined the Firebender's great trick by bursting onto stage with the pretense of saving his "true love ( ... )

...I'm going to dissect every one of your stupid arguments, and you're going to listen as I put you in your place with logic and facts.

*He runs away and it's all his fault the Air Nomads die. He just wanted to play all day and didn't care what happened to his people.

He was scared. Put yourself in the shoes of a twelve-year-old boy whose parental figures tell him there's a war going on and it's up to YOU to stop it. Running away wasn't the smart thing to do, but Aang sincerely regrets it and pays for his actions when he discovers his beloved mentor's corpse.

*He purposely hides a letter from Hakoda from Katara and Sokka, because he selfishly wants them to stay by his side. If I were Sokka or Katara I'd have slapped him.Again, put yourself in his shoes. You're a twelve-year-old boy, your people are gone, and the people you travel with have become like family to you. They're all you've got. You find a letter from their father, whom they've been wanting to reunite with, and you're afraid they'll leave you behind. Now to be fair, he ( ... )

*Thanks to him, the strongest and most well-protected city in the Earth Kingdom was overtaken by the Fire Nation. Because of his insistence on getting them involved, they made themselves vulnerable. And because of his immature refusal to give up his schoolboy crush on a girl he doesn't deserve, he failed to properly master the Avatar State, got himself killed, and failed to stop the Fire Nation!

Ba Sing Se fell because Azula had everything all planned out from the beginning. She and her friends managed to strong-arm their way into the Kyoshi Warriors, people fell for their disguises, she set herself up to be caught so she could out-chessmaster Long Feng and take control of the Dai Li. Aang had no way of knowing this was happening while he and his friends were focuwsed on THEIR mission. As for "The Guru", Aang did actually listen to his advice and was GOING to let go of Katara to obtain the power, but Azula was just a little quicker than him.

*He was going to stop Katara from doing what she needed to do in order to gain closure over ( ... )
