You. Are. Wrong.
How many times do I have to remind you that your ship is bad and you should feel bad? Didn't you watch the series properly?! Aang does not love or care about Katara. He's a selfish little boy who has to have his own way and only sees her as a shiny object, his prize for winning the day. The only reason Kataang is canon is because

And Ken cares very much for his teammates, FYI. And he's oblivious to all girls' romantic advances, not just Jun. I'll admit the whole running up a tab thing isn't too smart of him, but that alone doesn't mean he treats her like dirt. Watch the Jigokillers episodes again-and this time, don't shut your eyes and plug your ears after he sets fire to the field! *He runs away and it's all his fault the Air Nomads die. He just wanted to play all day and didn't care what happened to his people.
*He purposely hides a letter from Hakoda from Katara and Sokka, because he selfishly wants them to stay by his side. If I were Sokka or Katara I'd have slapped him.
*Burning Katara's hands. And he claims to have true, genuine feelings for her?! Sokka basically says what we're all thinking, it's all Aang's fault. And earlier in the episode he ruined the Firebender's great trick by bursting onto stage with the pretense of saving his "true love ( ... )

You're a twelve-year-old boy, your people are gone, and the people you travel with have become like family to you. They're all you've got. You find a letter from their father, whom they've been wanting to reunite with, and you're afraid they'll leave you behind. Now to be fair, he ( ... )

Ba Sing Se fell because Azula had everything all planned out from the beginning. She and her friends managed to strong-arm their way into the Kyoshi Warriors, people fell for their disguises, she set herself up to be caught so she could out-chessmaster Long Feng and take control of the Dai Li. Aang had no way of knowing this was happening while he and his friends were focuwsed on THEIR mission. As for "The Guru", Aang did actually listen to his advice and was GOING to let go of Katara to obtain the power, but Azula was just a little quicker than him.
