There isn't enough love for this pairing in fandom, which makes me sad, because what glimpses we do get of these two are so amazing!

oh my heck, it was SO satisfying to read this. it just clearly laid out my every thought and feeling about these guys so perfectly. i agree with every word of this so completely.

and yes it is the most tragic pairing, which is amazing considering the continually light-hearted, comedic nature of the series. it's a fine balance, and just another reason why i love the show so much.

i think my favourite type of chuck/bryce fic, and the ones that seem most "true" to me are the future fics. for me, bryce fell for chuck during college, but could never do anything about it, and at most, chuck only maybe experienced 'confusing' or 'ambiguous' feelings for his friend.

then in the future, bryce resurrects (come on, he's done it before :P) and comes back for chuck, who realises the true extent of his own feelings.

i loved every word of this. :D

one-sided casey/chuck is more like a humourous crack pairing for me.

Okay, so it's been eons since you posted this, but I figured what the hell, you might get a notification; one of the things that always got me was BRYCE OFFERING TO CARRY HIS BOOKS when they first met, there's just something so teenage romance about it :D
