Now I've read it and I like what you've done with it. Most of all I like that you highlighted Naruto and Sasuke's love as being something more than love as we see from Hollywood. It's deeper; it's not something that just goes away because they don't see each other.

I think, like Naruto understanding Sasuke's pain only after experiencing it himself, only people who have felt this kind of love themselves can see and understand it in these two.

Thanks for your compliments! Well, I had to look for something deeper, as it is pretty obvious that there bond is not based on sexual attraction. Maybe on romantic attraction, however. And though Naruto is quite possessive, it's not about having or owning Sasuke.

Amazing post! You make a lot of good points as to why they are more than friends. The concept that they are two halves that must be united struck a chord with me. Plus, the idea that their love reaches a whole other level, transcending physical attraction, is kind of romantic. I do see them as a very romantic couple.

Really this is a consolation prize to all of us who read the latest chapter and despaired over Sasuke's future. Thanks!

Thanks for the compliments! I fear that I went on a picture cropping spree... Well, yes, and writing this, and most of all cropping that picture from chapter 470 where Naruto says that Sasuke loved his family offered me some consolation too...

Ahhh, I am so glad someone wrote this! I get a lot of requests to cover the second half of the manga and although I still love Naruto (honestly, do any of us ever really "quit" Naruto?), University has done the dreaded deed and killed my time and energy to write exhaustive fandom essays. D:
