When everyone was fighting over Katara/Zuko and Katara/Aang, I was quietly shipping these two. I think the '100 years ago, I had a friend from the fire nation. If things had been different, could we have been friends?' really sealed the deal for me.

I love this. Zuko/Aang is my Soulmate ship (although they aren't typical soulmates, not because they are male/male but because of the nature of their relationship.)

I mean let's face it, the show was always about these two.

Since Zuko has the blood of the last Avatar and Aang has his spirit, they are almost literally "soulmates."

No seriously I have been a huge fan of the Zuko/Aang relationship since Blue Spirit and I always loved picking out all the parallels between the two characters' stories which continued right to the end with them both now having lightning scars.

I totally love how Avatar ends with both Zuko & Aang destined to restore balance to the world together. It really made everything really came full circle. For me that was the perfect way to end these boys' story.
