Well, I never went to Kentucky. Job fell through. So now I am working at the Ypsi Food Co-op and at Panera Bread. I am also going to school full-time. So my schedule is a bit full right now. Oh, my car died about 2 weeks ago. Sad. The undercarriage rusted though so that the engine was being held in by the steering column. And my mechanic said he ( Read more... )

So bronchitis/pneumonia sucks a big one. If you can stand the fever, chills, constant coughing, sneezing, and wishing you were born without a throat, then hey, ya get a bunch of time off work because your doctor said "Have you been sleeping? Here's the sad part. I didn't get the Dispatch job. Psych was my downfall, I "didn't fit the profile of a dispatcher." Le sigh... I found this out on the 6th of July but I was in too much of a funk to write about it till last week, then it was just the lazy gene kicking in. So, I passed background check for the Dispatch position at the Ypsilanti Police Dept. Which feels so good, not that I had any reason to doubt but still. Now I have my Psych exam on Wednesday, all day. And Monday I have some papers to pick up from the HR department on Monday that tell me all about that. So yeah... Squeee ( Read more... )

A lot has happened since my last entry. I graduated from my CPA thingy (Citizens' Police Academy) and then went on a 12 hour ride-along. Which kicked ass. I am now CPR certified too. And I start classes in 2 weeks at WCC. Spanish for the 1st half and Constitutional Law, or something, for the second half. Thinking I gotta find another job, and I am ( Read more... )
