You know, when I first looked at Iris from the greyscale stock art, I had a sneaking suspicion that her hair would be purple. Just a hunch. And you know what? I was right. I also suspected that she would be some girl from the wild who would be totally out of touch with normal society and sort of have an attitude like Sapphire from Pokemon Special.

I've found that animu colorists frequently default to dark purple/brown for their "black" characters. Any other color and they look ganguro. ^^; (on the flipside, I doooon't think I've seen too many "albino-y" characters get away with dark purple, not without looking sickly IMHO, like say Rodyle.. XD)

That hair is crazy, but from the preview I rather like Iris so far! She seems promising, and not like a total Sapphire rip-off.. I'm a bit meh on green haired guy[Dento?], but after seeing him in the preview I also think he could be a good character.

I really wish Paul would come over to Isshu... He's so different from all the other characters. :C Bawww.
