VGMAND 2015 Tokyo -Yanaka and Nekos
Yanaka being on the other side of my hotel made it easier for me to wander and shoot the place over a span of few days. I'm not really sure how to start since its quite a huge pic spam
You could say that I was looking for an laid back town to visit like back with Iga Ueno or the very short Futamino-ura walkthrough that I had. And the moment cats got added into the picture, it just seems a perfect combination of old residental area and somewhat hipsterish place.
And when you add cats to a place, it just kinda draw curious people. As much as I would like to visit a cat cafe. I have yet to do so. The concept has spread to my country but I still visit the cats in my neighbourhood and market instead of the ones in the cat cafe.

The real cats tend to show up around sunrise (less crowded?) and sunset(feeding time?). Near the stairs and somewhere in the cemetery. That or word had spread amongst cats that I am stalking them for photographs.
Either this cat has odd eyes or eye issue or I met a bakeneko in the cemetary
This one is one of the friendlier neko.
Tennoji Temple proves that I was still too early on two different days. I'm starting to think that temples in quieter areas may be operating at a time from of 1000-1600?(Will have to check Ueno shots) And that 0700 is when the main gates are open? And 1600-1800 are pretty much near closing time and usually make me feel too arkward to stay too long (Gotokuji and Suwa shrine). I do hear monks chanting during the time that I was too early or too close to closing time.
And that you realised how bright and hot it is when my camera shoot macro this well.
Enroute to Suwa shrine, is a spot the supposedly allow you to see Mt fuji. Either I can't see it during the various days that I was there or the view has been blocked off by construction.
