This had me in tears. It is so like the stories and makes me want to go back and reread the entire series again. I didn't much like the third book, but the first two were just... awesome. So is this story. I liked how you kept Isselle's sensativity and intelligence even as you portrayed her uncertainty over her feelings for Arbanos and Liss. The two balance each other nicely. Thanks for sharing this story!

Oh, and that twist at the end where she found out who was really singing that song to her at nights really made me smile.

Thanks for your comments! I'm glad you thought the balance between Iselle as smart and competent, versus feeling unsure about where she stood in her mother's life, worked out. Also very glad you liked the little twist. :)
