[Kaleidoscope update] And Yet So Far

I can't believe it has taken me since December to finish this chapter of Kaleidoscope. I remember the first bit of this from rt_morelove in January and oh, augh, Remus getting shut down by a stranger's bigotry just when he was finally starting to feel some happiness again still hurts! Thanks for the comments and the encouragement! Yep, getting closer to finished, only nine years out. :/

Really glad to hear you find both characters' positions believable (given the characters) -- that's something I'm trying to pull off. And yay for more support for a three-dimensional approach to Tonks. Heh.

I don't think I wrote in enough about mourning for Sirius in the HBP pieces I wrote early in the process -- as I revise the older chapters, I may be looking for ways to reflect that subtly but realistically.

Yay! Thanks for the little dedication! This really made me feel Tonk's desperation and helplessness in this situation. Not only is he leaving her but she has to stand by and watch his spiral with out being able to do anything. Oh and the sad patronus, ::sniff::!

You've always been so encouraging with the comments -- definitely appreciated! I know this chapter was a little sad, but you know, HBP, and it all comes out right in the end...
