There's hardly a fic by _thirty2flavors that isn't fantastic. In this one, she's chosen the five characters really nicely, with a wide range of thoughts and emotions to be explored for each one. You can see a different aspect of a relationship in all of them. What really stands out, though, is the reason Lily ultimately doesn't fall in love. Without spelling it out, the author has neatly highlighted why Lily did fall in love with James.
