...to be entirely honest, I have to say that many of these are either vaguely obscure (hello 1940s and 50s!), local and/or YA fiction, with basically two giant pop culture exceptions and one sf monolith, albeit one which isn't as well known as it should be. So. I wouldn't feel bad, at any rate!
