*cuddles*

sorry to hear your faily bits. :~(

i had a really truly faily bit too. also car related. managed to spin out exiting the freeway. ended up facing THE WRONG WAY on the offramp. with cars backing up behind me. shook so hard that the bloke behind me had to turn my car around for me and then i sat in the driver's seat on the side of the road as they all passed, waiting to calm down. speaking in a chirpy 'everything's FINE' voice to the kids. UGH UGH UGH. when did i become such a crap driver? i've had my license for lots and lots of years and NOW i start doing stupid things. UGH AGAIN.

oops. sorry to blither.

anyway. cheer up sausage. hope tomorrow balances more towards the awesome side.

oh, honey. *hugs YOU so so so tight* oh, man, that is terrifying indeed. it sounds like you did all the right mum things, at least, and hopefully that's the scaryhorrible driving experience out the way for you for at LEAST the next ten years. *hugs more, then sends Spencer to glare at the care and then lurk around being all competent and attractive until you feel better too*

i'm actually feeling pretty decent, really, more rueful than anything else. next time i will remember their driveway has that stupid curve at the very end! heh.

i hope your tomorrow balances more awesome, too. <3

i think i just need to have, y'know, light. i am normally an excellent reverser! i can even parallel park quite often and fairly well! in a manual! i just. yeah. i wasn't expecting the drive to kink there! and even less was i expecting low-flying letterboxes IN said kink! heh.

*IS HELPFUL!* :D

sorry about all the not so good things that have been hapening :( what's the deal with eye surgery anyway? I have pretty shitty eyes also, and would be really happy if they could be made slightly better? But why can't you get it done?

the idea of driving scares me.. more for the other people on the road than myself :(

i'm actually pretty okay with it all really, nothing major, but thanks all the same, yo. and so far as i understand the lasik thing, they can't do it unless your vision's been stable for a while, and since mine keeps deteriorating i don't think they'd agree to do it. dear science, get more awesome! love, us.

aww, well generally it is all good! but i come at that from the perspective of genuinely enjoying driving. it is not my fault mailboxes jump out of dark corners and hit my bumper! (my story and i am sticking to it!)

On further reflection I am remembering a partiiiiiiicularly explodey black oxide concrete block and thinking "HRM" but I have to admit, I was totally expecting it to be worse than it was. It didn't hurt getting it out at all, and other than just looking weird it didn't hurt when it was stuck in there, so... *shrug*. I just totally squicked myself out beforehand imagining a whole tonne of "what if"s. *sheepish*

THIS WHOLE COMMENT IS DDDDDDDDDDD:-INDUCING (EXCEPT FOR THE NOT-HURTY BIT) AND YOU NEED TO WEAR GOGGLES ONSITE TO PROTECT YOUR POOR EYES JUST LIKE YOU'RE BACK IN SCIENCE CLASS, I FEEL.

Yeaaaaaaaaaah, I know. And since work is not ponying up for the prescription safety glasses, thus the plan to start wearing contacts again so I can wear proper glasses over them. *totally has a plan. a good plan!*

I'm hoping it will either somehow magically heal or just be super super even more minor. I have enough problems with my eyes as it is! Heh.

And thank you! *ogles on your icon some*
