Thank you! I was in fact woken up by a very friendly cat this morning and when I got up Izzy had brought home donuts, so, so far it's quite a lovely birthday.
Froggieeeeee! *knuffles* And yayyyy, and me too. <3 (And, I make no promises on speed, but which is the bandom pairing of your heart RIGHT THIS MINUTE? *tries to look mysterious, but mostly just looks flaily*)
I'm a brand-new baby bandomer--seriously, two months of this madness--and booked a ticket to see Panic in June, and freaked out because NO ONE would want to come slash them with me and then some very nice people pointed me to 2damnoldforthis and I saw you would be there too...
Ahh, gotcha. I'm sure we'll manage to run into each other there then, yes - I'm, um, being ridiculous with money and flying in from Denver that afternoon for the show, so I suspect I will turn up some time after 5pm all flustered and foreign in a Frames t shirt. We can definitely try and make slightly more sophisticated "meet up! squee!" plans closer to the time, yes? (I'm flying solo for that show - and probably Denver too, hah, since all my CO friends are ditching me for REM if they can -- YOU SEE WHAT I DO FOR YOU GUYS, PANIC? -- so I'll definitely appreciate fannish company then!)
I knooooooow, right? :D Also, had no money on phone the other day, but thank you muchly for your text, we were all fine though dad reckons he did see a funnel cloud over Papakura, eeek *big eyes*
No seriously, today I had a student come up to me after a tute and supposedly read my mind. Which in my pain-killer induced space cadet state fried said mind. But really, as my laughing co-tutor pointed out when i turned up frazzled, he'd just read my hoodie. Spooky, spooky I tell ya.
No problems, cells and no $$ are good friends in this house :)
