Dog wants something. No clue what. She keeps nosing at my hand as if I've forgotten something (normally this means "dude, where is my half-past-eight crackdog treat!", but she has had that tonight already), and is being all pushy and I just- I am a cat person! I don't speak dog! I am confused!

I speak rabbit, which also has a lot to do with snacks and wanting them NOW, PLEASE, so I have faith in my interpretation :p

I think you are right. I also think some mysterious mishap has befallen the wading pool overnight cos it's only half the depth it was yesterday - and it's RAINED since! - and now I am thoughtful in hindsight about someone's very damp hindquarters. Hrm.

Ahhh. Yes. That seems rather similar, I think...
