yeah, i'll dig a tunnel... across the Tasman Sea

Jan 03, 2008 20:23

Hi. So. I'm tucked up on the couch (wireless ftmfw), shoes off, bra off, dog (and myself) walked into absolute zonkedness, dinner made and cleaned up after, and salad made for lunch tomorrow, and since most of my stuff is, naturally, at my house and NOT HERE, all I really have to do this evening is read a bit and maybe try to start catching up with ( Read more... )

a very famous plan, gigs, music, melbourne

It's apparently part of my subconscious' evil plan to continue to masquerade as anything other than the lazy-stay-at-home-travel-eek-change-bad person I am deep down inside. I dunno, man. I keep saying no more and then something comes up! :D

And, ooh, I just remembered, I meant to make ridiculous polls this evening. *poings off* *waves at you*

You know, I'll get to the Big Day Out. When I'm eighty.

Or do something equally as exciting. Groan.

Also, I think I have some Muse to send you, but seeing as I haven't really done anything lately, or forgot to plan to, I have not done it yet. But I have about sixty bajillion CDs of their uploaded and ready to go. It's just my disk drive is broked...

Anyway. Is on my list. :)

I am somehow going to plot a way for this to happen LONG before then. If only because I want to go with (concert buddies ftw!) and if we're 80 then-- ooh, actually, if we're 80 we can totally beat up punkass kids with our walking sticks. This is not a bad plan! However, it should not be your FIRST BDO then. Srsly. I will find a way. *insert comment regards hooks, crooks, etc*

And, ooh, that would be shiny. And no mad rush, though, it's all good. (I also fail at doing anything lately, and still haven't sent your coat -- I swear I will do that SOON. I mean. I would hope you don't need it right now (ugh, HOT) but it's the principle of the matter. *feels bad*)

I could have gone this year if I had the funds availabe, it's just at a really awkward tim eof year, being right after Christmas and majr bill payage and other bad things...and and dammit Arcade Fire! I kicked myself lots and lots of time for not seeing Muse the timese they were here previously, and at the rate I'm going, it'll take me another five years to get to see them, too. And, I mean, I still have to pay you back for the last one...sigh. But, GOD. Concert Buddies FTW. ONE DAY.

Beating kids up with stick, I'll do that ANY day of the week.

I just had to find the right disk to write them all on, because I do not know this type of thing. There is a LOT of music there. Hm. Oh, seriously, I may just get it off you next time I see you. From experience, big coats are a bitch and a half to send, so don't stress about it. And it's too damn hot anyway.

ALSO HI. Thank you for sending me Arrogant Worms. I was listening to them on the way home and I laughed so hard I got the hiccups. Me Like Hockey YEAH! ♥

I get in at half past nine on Saturday morning (no Friday flights at a sane hour that would allow me to still do at least a half day's work, woes) and leave 11am Tuesday morning. NOT THAT I GOT FLIGHTS ALREADY OR ANYTHING. :D

Moo haa ha ha.

We made good plan!

\o/\o/ AWESOMECAKES. Or, you know, I could let you sleep and we could work something out, that is totally okay too! (We plot over gchat/text/email properly later, yes?)

...hee, really?

And oh god, yes. FUCK. 1am. I have to get up at 5.45 to make it work on time, I have realised (ie, when I was ten minutes late for the second time today). BUGGER FUCK. I will get loooooooooots of coffee and spam you tomorrow, hopefully.

SZO PLANNY!

[gah!! wtf. have they got back to you at all yet? er. not that i wasn't concerned before it intimately involved me, but. you know. *pokes them a LOT*]

Joss Whedon doing some awesome comic or tv-based project with Gerard Way. Most ridiculously awesome outcome in the history of the world, y/y?

... the universe needs to conspire to make this happen.
