Just before I forget - Christmas cards have come in this weekend from kanzenhanzai and mickeymvt. Thank you both so, so much. *beams* (They're so pretty! Ooh, thanks muchly. I mean, I don't think it's going to be a 100% commitment (she says now) because SGA kind of still OWNS ME, but primers are made of excellent. *saves links to look at picspams etc after the stupid data cap resets on Thursday*

And, oh, I totally fail with forgetting to mention the Cobras - shoemaster pretty much did an excellent job of pimping them at me, too, so I am totally on board with that, too. :D *squishes them ALL*

Oh dear, yet another one taken in by "The Bandom" ;)

I saw some pics of the Akld MCR gig on my cataloguing queue just this afternoon. Guess I should upload them for you ;) I'll get right on it tomorrow. Provided you promise me that you won't completely desert SGA! Or, at least, write McKay/Hewlett as the ex bass player and Shep/Flan as the ex lead guitar/vocalist who "come together" after 10 years apart and re-create their glory. As it were. ;) (Martin Gero is obviously their manager!)

Oh yeah. I totally read them way back before I'd even heard of Panic! from anyone other than not_nele, actually, because, well, my tendency to read anything SGA by people who can put words together well tends to override content. :D

-accidently sprayed myself full in the face at the sink. This could've been a lot worse because a) for once no one actually SAW and then could mock b) it was fucking hot so it actually felt pretty good (total benefit of wearing glasses! no water stabbing you in the eyes!) and c) it led to hilarious text exchanges with several people. (eg. tshirtgirl's response to my saying that there was totally a reason I never pursued drumming (ie, my vast and overwhelming lack of coordination) was to point out that it's far more fun to pursue drummers. I really like the way she thinks. :D)

I love how he will put on everything you throw at him. I've seen him in heart-shaped sunglasses, four boas at a time because no one else would wear them, once there was an I ♥ GERARD shirt, at the concert I went to over the summer he put on ten shirts at once and looked all chubby and then started stripping them off between songs. The summer tour was sponsored by Trojans so he put a condom on his mic with his mouth and then sucked on the tip as he played. I can't even deal with him. Like he exists and I can't process it all at once.

He was wearing a vintage UF shirt in the first pic I ever saw of him. Wuv at first sight.
