Today I happened to ask the usually in the know real groovy dude re the frames doing BDO here too and he thinks they're only playing oz :(
You got more done than me this weekend, don't beat yourself up.
I finally got zoo tv and am currently playing it very loudly on shiny wide screen laptop and can i just say, edge? if you ever want my babies you can have them as long as you play the love is blindness solo every day ;) Also I had forgotten JUST how good the version of running to stand still is. Not many days now surely?
Ah, really? Boo-urns. I may have to, uh, go to Melbourne, then. God knows I have the airpoints to spare (not enough to get to the States, and I won't be flying enough again anytime in the near future to earn enough to bump 'em that high, so I'm figuring on a Tasman hop or two and the Frames are sure a good reason for that. :D)
And, aw, I sort of doubt that (you seem a most accomplished person in general, so) but thank you all the same.
Mmmm, ZooTV. I haven't watched it all the way through yet (haven't had the time/privacy, really) but it does look looooooovely. And I just saw the ad on C4 for when they're playing it and doing a huge giveaway at the end of the month, so ROCK. I think we're at, hrm, 40 exactly. OMG.
Yay Melbourne trips are GOOD and should be encouraged at all costs.
No really, all I did was buy Zoo TV, eat too much pasta when we went out for dinner and photocopy 200 pages of a book i should have read by now but haven't and needs to go back to the interloan people. Spending $20 on photocopying instead of just fronting up and reading the bloody thing is very bad. Mind you my excuse is we spent all friday on potential fire evacuation and that was stressful, yuck. Oh yeah I read some ryan/conor slash too of course ;)
40 days till helen gets her photo op with bono, i bet her ratings can't wait ;)
hey, well, I call that very accomplished! And, mm, pasta envy. Though, yikes on the fire evacuation bits, I was wondering if that was anywhere near anyone I know (you, a few non-LJ people) down there... And, oh, yes, the 'damnit due back now didn't read yet must photocopy CURSES' thing. I remember that. So not fun. *sympathy*
I am really not sure how it's going to go yet - it was only a forty-five minute type pilot, but it looks interesting and they've got some neat characters who do not make me roll my eyes or anything and just... yeah, I like it so far. I think it's worth a shot, at least. We were going to try the second episode as well but ran out of time. Yannow. :D
Heroes is a good show, I think you'll like ep2+3. :) I'm a bit leery of the Ali Larter stripper-with-a-kid character, but eh. And yes, Hiro is awesome. :D
